A routine medical examination of all students is done. First aid facilities are available for all.
The School is associated to Asian Institute of Medical Sciences Badkal Flyover Road, Sector – 21 A, Faridabad – 121001 Haryana, India. (5 kms away from the school) for all kinds of medical emergency assistance to KPS Toddlers students.
At KPS Toddlers , we have a hygienic and well equipped kitchen where in house fresh food is made for the students. Fresh vegetables and fruits are regularly bought and served daily. Food is prepared by the chef keeping in the mind a balanced diet for the students. Healthy eating can stabilize children's energy and sharpen their minds. Children develop a natural preference for the foods they enjoy the most, so the challenge is to make healthy choices appealing and tasty. We serve a healthy and nutritious blend of vegetarian meals to all children, consisting of a variety of cuisines and including foods from all major food groups (Veg / Non- veg preference can be given by parents). Regular Menus are updated and given to parents. Menus change seasonally.
At KPS Toddlers , we follow the student–teacher ratio of 15:1:1 which indicates that there is one teacher and one attendant for every 15 students.
At KPS Toddlers , we have qualified and experienced teachers and attendants to provide the stimulus for academic achievement in all disciplines. All the helpers are well spoken and converse in English.
At KPS Toddlers , all the children will be free to explore their interests in the first week, as they will be set free in the Montessori Lab area for the initial 7 days of admission. The "whole child" approach is followed to help each child reach full potential in all areas of life. Activities promote the development of social skills, emotional growth, and physical coordination as well as cognitive preparation. They will be free to choose their interest areas, and will be carefully observed in these 7 days. Based on observation, children will be grouped according to their learning style, interest area, learning pattern so that they learn maximum out of what is taught, in the way they understand it.
We at KPS Toddlers ensure the safety and security of all students. All students will be given an identity card with a unique identification and 'Show' and 'Go' method will be followed. Show & Go/RFID: When students show their card to the reader [reading distance 5cm] attendance will be automatically marked and automatic sms will be generated & sent to the parents along with the GPS co-ordinates where the student has been dropped, ensuring security of students. This facility will be used while boarding buses & while being dropped at the predestined stops.
We at KPS Toddlers believe in bringing out the best in every child. It is ensured that every child is happy and smiling and has the willingness to learn. If a child is uneasy, upset or unwilling to learn, he/she is taken to the trouble free zone where counselors and teachers ensure that the reason behind the same is found out and the problem addressed. We don't believe in forced education, we believe in teaching the children the way they want to learn.
KPS Toddlers ensures that all children are kept in a temperature and climate that is suited best for them. Hence temperature inside the school is moderated and adjusted according to the changing weather and season as the entire school is air-conditioned using the latest and best 'cassette AC' technology.
Every child is valued for their own contributions. At KPS Toddlers we encourage children to share their views, thoughts and ideas. Children are also stimulated to initiate their own play as we firmly believe that each child will make better developments through activities they have chosen for themselves. Each child can bring in their own toys and special objects from home to share with the rest of the class. Sports, Arts and Culture, Music, Theatre and Outdoor Excursions are given utmost importance for overall development of the child. We don't believe in forcing education, as we strive to teach children, the way they want to learn.
Children build strong bonds with their peers and members of staff. It is through developing these social skills they will be ready to continue and develop their learning journey. Inculcating love and care while teaching children is of prime importance and all our staff are particularly trained to handle children behavior and are quite passionate about their work and responsibility.
